Summer greetings friends of Hydrogen Valley!

Time is running out in the pools of the pullers and it will soon be time for the midsummer celebrations. We in the Finnish Hydrogen Valley are not yet any less busy, but we are determinedly working for eastern Finland.

On current issues of the association, you can tell your own group of companies that today, 19 June, we are meeting online to discuss current topics. Among other things, we will hear from Jarno Sederlund, Fingrid's customer manager, about the progress of the grid.

More interesting programmes are planned for the autumn, both online and in the form of company visits. Follow our communication!

In the spring, we decided to set up a network of local actors in the Vetro Valley to serve their needs and increase their understanding of what the hydrogen economy brings to the municipal field. We are now putting out a small survey to municipalities on how to start taking this forward. The aim is to have the first meeting in conjunction with the Municipal Market.

Our own network is growing all the time and we are constantly gaining new members, so check out our website to see who was involved. The latest to join us is Solintech Ltd from Kaunas - welcome! This is a network worth promoting to your friends even during the summer heat!

Hydrogen Arena 26.-27.6.2024 in Pori

The Finnish Hydrogen Valley participated in the World Hydrogen Summit in May, together with Business Finland and other stakeholders in Finland. We brought an important message to the world about how Finland is becoming a leading European hydrogen economy. We all have a big role to play in building this, especially in Eastern Finland, where the importance of the future will be highlighted as we grow in scale and our resources become even more valuable.

We will continue to work closely with the hydrogen networks and the next time you can see us in Finland will be at the Pori HydrogenArena. It's worth coming to hear how Finland is taking the next step in new energy! Bioenergy plays an important role in an uncertain world - Bioenergy Association

Bioenergy published a roadmap report that reviews the significant changes in the bioenergy sector's operating environment in recent years and the importance and development of bioenergy. The report points out that bioenergy will increase our self-sufficiency in an uncertain security situation and enable carbon neutrality. The comprehensive roadmap report also provides a lot of interesting data for hydrogen operators.
