What is the Hydrogen Valley Finland?


Founded in 2023, the Hydrogen Valley Finland aims to promote renewable energy production and the hydrogen economy, especially in eastern Finland, to the media and other stakeholders in the renewable energy sector.

Our mission is to source, produce and disseminate information to public administrations, energy companies, technology and service companies related to the hydrogen economy, project developers, the media and others in the renewable energy sector. stakeholders in the renewable energy sector.

We are a non-profit association whose purpose is to act as an advocate and informer in matters relating to the water economy.

The Hydrogen Valley Finland already has close to 50 members, more than half of which are companies operating in eastern Finland.

Finland is opening up tremendous opportunities to harness the vitality of green electrification.

The realisation of a hydrogen valley in eastern Finland requires cooperation between all actors in the regions. The role of Hydrogen Valley Finland is to highlight and clarify the business opportunities for companies in the sector.

The hydrogen economy will include not only the production, transport and storage of hydrogen, but also downstream processing and many subcontracting and service activities along the value chain. This will provide all the regions of eastern Finland with major opportunities for the coming decades, creating new jobs, generating and attracting new growth companies and keeping eastern Finland vibrant.
