The Finnish Hydrogen Valley will participate in SuomiAreena on June 27. The topic is ResilEast – a 100 billion defense energy program for the eastern borders.
The ResilEast program combines Finland's energy supply and national defense in a new way, increasing our country's resilience. The program's goal is to ensure that our infrastructure, energy supply and defense support function in times of peace, hybrid influence and war. ResilEast strengthens employment in Eastern Finland in particular and the economy of the entire country.
Hydrogen economy entrepreneurs will take to the stage at Puuvilla on June 27th at 11:00 to discuss the topic. Jari Sistonen , Oy U-Cont Ltd ; Project Manager Harriet Lonka , Total Safety Cluster, North Savo Regional Council ; Professor of Industry Jukka Ruusunen, LUT University and the CEO as moderator Jami Holtari , Finnish Hydrogen Valley Association .
ResilEast supports the EU’s Preparedness Union strategy, based on President Niinistö’s report. The programme is part of the implementation of the EU Defence White Paper and the government’s Eastern Finland Programme. The programme can be expanded to cover the entire EU and NATO eastern border and the Baltic Sea region.
